Dan J. Sorry I'm a day late and forever a dollar short to wish tou a Happy Birtday.

First time I've been on line since Saturday so I'm a bit behind. Hope you had a great day and at our age there all great days.

Looking forward to the next one.

OB,I'm so upset. You forgot to tell me to eat cake, so I ate the whole thing. Thanks for the wishes, old buddy.

Mike Young

Dan, I'm glad that you're  a self starter and took it upon yourself to have the cake even without OB's directive.  I'm sorry that I'm late with the birthday wishes, but I'll probably be the first to wish you a Merry Unbirthday and 364 more.

Dan, Glad you had the cake. Shows how out of it I've been forgetting about the cake. Anytime I forget about cake it's a bad day.

Hope you had a good day the day after eating the whole cake.

Who you calling "Old"?

Stay safe

OB ... how, on earth, could YOU forget CAKE  ??? Stop blaming your age ... “ c a k e “ is only a four letter word.  Your reputation as the official class “Birthday Sentimentalist” is waning ... Have a beer and get back on track wink

Lorrie, thank you for all the kind words. Geez, I missed one cake wish and i get hollored at. I won't miss another one.

I never picked up the taste for beer but I will go and have another scotch and soda.

And I know cake is only a four letter word.  You know why they call it golf don't you,  all the other four letter words were taken,  ha, ha.

A little something that I thought that I'd share with everyone.  A company called the Solomon Corporation held a tournament here that last few days know as the Trident Cup.  They had 16 foursomes playing team matches for the Trident Cup.  There was a Navy Seal playing along with each foursome courtesy of the Solomon Corporation.  One of them is the latest to earn the Congressional Medal of Honor.  The Trident is the symbol of the Seals.  Pinehurst Resort picked up the tab for the 16 caddies that caddied for the Seals.  "Trident Cup" caddy jerseys complete with Trident logos were made available to the caddies. Several of our members came up to the Seals to thank them for their service to our country.

Well, it's that time of the year again and it's never pretty. fires have started and prayers to our classmates out in the San Fernando Valley area of Thousand Oaks and sylmar. Last night over 90,000 had to evacuate and the fire is now at 4000 acres,

Prayers, wishes and thoughts to all of you.

Thank you for your kind words and thoughts, 75, what's that saying, if I thought I would have lived this long, I would have taken better care of myself.

Yes, my wife is making my favorite cake for today, angel food cake with dark chocolate frosting. Yes I will have cake.

OB Sorry to be late with the Birthday wishes, but I'll bet that I'm the first to wish you a Merry Unbirthday today.  I hope that you have some of that Angel Food Cake left over.  Glad that those fires had nothing to do with your 75 candles.  Have another happy and healthy year.

Again thank you to all for the bday wishes. Mike, when it comes to cake in this house it only lasts three days and today is day three.

Judy, keep making that ice cream and between the ice cream and cake we'll be able to roll around heaven all day.

Looking forward to the next 30 years full of fun. Be safe all.
