Bonnie, I wish you the best of birthdays this year.  I am hoping that you join us this year for the reunion/golf outing. Perhaps you could persuade Jayne to come too.  I recall you having us in stitches relating how your husband was being electrocuted and his best buddy getting a camera to record the momentous event.  That still boggles my mind.  How long does cake survive at your house?

Judy, raspberry lemon cheesecake ice cream???  Makes my mouth water just to read that name.  I hope that all is well in the Show Me state.

OB, three days is the life expectancy of Angelfood cake with chocolate icing at the O'Brien's?  How often do you bake?  Every 3 days would be my guess.  Do you pass out cake on Halloween?

The Halloween decorations are up, many inflatable ghosts, goblins and vampires are on display, but this one yard has a skeleton with two skeleton dogs that look just a  wee bit too realistic  Rumor has it that the man of the house ran away a few years ago and has not been seen nor heard from since.  Well, OK, I made that part up, but those skeletons are spooky.  About a third of our locals won't celebrate Halloween, about a third have Booze parties and the rest have Boos parties.  All of the local schools have parties so there's not much door-to-door trick or treating.  I hope you all get plenty of good treats and that any tricks are funny.

A Happy Birthday to Bonnie, May youhave a wonderful, fun filled day and night.

Wishes for many more and hope all the days go your way.

Stay healthy and enjoy each day.

Especially while your eating cake.

Mike, If we baked every three days I probably wouldn't be here now. Those three days have to last me for the year because the cake comes next October 11.

Tom Scott, Well I think you in a tutu would look great, You must post pictures of that.

Pink, I think that would be your color. I don't know if you get the tights on and it might be a little tough going door to door in your toe dancer shoes.

Enjoy your day and be sure to get a lot of biscuits for your doggy.

Happy birthday, Kathy Chaivre, Veep of the Pep Club.  It's been so good to see you and Dick at our Reunion/golf outings and I hope to see you both again this August.  Meanwhile, celebrate your life with those you love.

Scotty, I'm not too keen on seeing you in a tutu, pink or otherwise, but if anyone can handle ballerina shoes it's someone like you who can run on your toes in skates.  Still, I'd leave the plies to Morgan, though the ladies may like to see you do your best.

Happy Birthday, Fred - are you still lurking out there?  I can still visualize you sitting in the Starting Booth on the fist tee at Red Run.  Those were some good days.   I see that your Spartans are ranked #1 this year, will you be getting to many of the games?  Enjoy your day and the rest of the year, too.

Thank you Doctor, Happy Birthday to Randy, wishes for many more for you. Enjoy the year with the family and because we don't hear from you, you must be eating a lot of cake.

Enjoy the day and the year to come.

A Happy "Boos" Day to one and all and a Merry Unbirthday, too.  I think that Halloween would be a lousy day for a birthday, but better than none.  We have mummies, ghosts, spider webs with Gargantuan spiders (Not to compare with Shelob, though.), skeletons and witches galore.  This made me think of Scottie and his tutu, but I think that OB would cut a more "interesting" figure in a tutu.  Hope all is well for everyone.

Happy "HAUNTING" to all.  Don't let your kids check your candy haul before you get to it.

Happy Birthday today to Philip Roy. Hope your day is filled with fun and excitement, not to much excitement cuz you know how our hearts are at this age.

Seriously, have a great day and be sure to enjoy cake.

If you could have only played baseball, we would have some memories. ha, ha.

A belated Happy Birthday, Phil.  I remember your pitching, playing Red Run together with three clubs and double dating.  I hope that your birthday was enjoyable and that the coming year is as terrific as you can make it.  You ought to come and join us at Pontiac CC for our mini reunion and play a little golf, we'd like to see you and share a tale or two.

Happy Birthday, Pete Pappas - you get to have a 25 hour birthday this year - a bonus.  I trust that you'll make the most of it and of the upcoming year.  You, too, could grace us with your presence this August, Pete, we'd like to have you enhance the day, too.

A Merry Unbirthday to the all the rest of y'all.  (I think that's the plural of "y'all.)

Happy Birthday Pete, hoping the best for the day and upcoming year. The baseball memories between yesterday yesterdays with Phil roy and todays birthdays are bringing them back.

Enjoy your day and be sure to get some ice cream on that cake.

Enjoy.

So Tom ... For Pete Pappas you wish cake AND ice cream ? ... were the rest of us unworthy of ice cream ? ... or are you just upgrading Birthday expectations for ALL of us ? ... hmmmm ?

Lorrie, Pete was an excellent infielder on the baseball team.  He was smart, savvy, covered a lot of ground and had a good, accurate arm.  If I recall correctly, Pete was a co-captain along with Pat Diggles.  Pete's fielding talents supplemented and enhanced OB's considerable abilities  as a pitcher.  So, OB has an appreciation for Pete and gives him the bonus of some ice cream.  We'll see what OB has to wish Dick Brown, his catcher and battery mate.  Maybe some syrup on the ice cream.  Of course, I could be way off base on this ( in which case OB may pick me off).  I've been wrong before as my ex will be pleased to verify.  Doesn't mean you can't get your hopes up for ice cream wishes.

I love reading your baseball memories.  Happy belated birthdays to Phil and Pete.

I've heard that in your younger years you all would mow the grass of an empty field behind Susie Q and set up your games.  Lovely to imagine.
